It will be directed by Sarah Redmond, musical director is Francis Goodhand, design by student winner Rachel Stone. Cristian Valle is the choreographer, with lighting by Douglas Green and sound by Charles Simpson.

Jason Robert Brown’s upcoming projects include ‘Honeymoon in Vegas’, a musical adaptation of Andrew Bergman's 1992 film, directed by Gary Griffin (The Colour Purple) and starring Tony Danza to premiere at the Royal Alexandra Theatre Toronto in December 2012, with a Broadway production planned for Spring 2013, and ‘The Bridges of Madison County’, a musical adapted with Pulitzer Prize winning playwright & librettist Marsha Norman from the bestselling novel, directed by Bartlett Sher (South Pacific) to premiere in Autumn 2013.

His orchestral adaptation of E.B. White’s novel, ‘The Trumpet of the Swan’, premiered at the Kennedy Center with John Lithgow and the National Symphony Orchestra 27 March 2011.

The score for Songs for a New World takes us from the deck of a 1492 Spanish sailing ship to a ledge 57 stories above Fifth Avenue through 16 songs, each telling its own story: how to survive in a new set of circumstances – a new world – even against seemingly overwhelming odds. Sarah Redmond performed in the show’s European première at The Bridewell in 2001. Songs for a New World was originally produced off-Broadway by the WPA Theatre, NYC, October – November 1995

The Last Five Years – Bridewell Theatre

An NYMT Workshop Production of ‘The Last Five Years’ by Jason Robert Brown will be at the Bridewell Theatre Sunday 5 August Only. It is directed by Matthew Ryan and Musical Director is Tom Brady. Rosie Clarkson plays Cathy and Dom Hodson plays Jamie. There will be discussion with Jason Robert Brown and Lara Pulver during the performances. Tickets £18.00.

This celebrates the 10th anniversary of its Broadway opening in 2002. The Last Five Years is an emotionally powerful and intimate musical about two New Yorkers in their twenties who fall in and out of love over the course of five years. Jason will direct a production of The Last Five Years for Second Stage Theatre in New York in Spring 2013.

The musical will be directed by Jason Robert Brown. The musical director is Torquil Munro The choregraphy is by Drew McOnie with design by Richard Kent, lighting by David Plater and sound by Autograph.

A high-energy musical for all ages, 13 tells the story of Evan Goldman who is approaching his 13th birthday when he is forced to leave his New York home and move to the Midwest with his mother following his parents' divorce. 13 charts Evan's experience of figuring out where he belongs in the world and is about discovering that cool is where you find it and sometimes where you least expect it. "13" premiered at the Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles January 2007 and subsequently opened on Broadway at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre, running from October 2008 to January 2009.

There is a feature-length documentary being made about the NYMT for 2013 - from the first auditions to opening night of a production including ‘13’. Laura Fairree (NYMT contemporary and friend of Jude Law and Jonny Lee Miller) is the producer/director. Her last documentary was ‘The Battle for Barking’.
