Beauty and The Beast is written by Ben Crocker, directed by John Terry, with music by Sarah Travis. The design is by Russell Craig and costumes are by Nell Knudsen, with choreography by Lucy Hind, lighting by Amy Southeard, and musical direction by Peter Pontzen.

The cast includes Lotte Gilmore as Rose/Beauty, Rowan Talbot Beast, Billy Riddoch Ma/Dame, Matt Pinches Chipie and Talking Clock; Basienka Blake, Stacey Cadman, Sam Pay, Nikky Arding and Howard Grater. The production is sponsored by Kingham Hill School.

John Terry, Award winning Artistic Director of The Theatre Chipping Norton, has directed at the Royal Exchange, Finborough Theatre and has been a staff director at the National Theatre. He directed Dick Whittington & his Cat written by Ben Crocker, the sell out pantomime last year.

Sarah Travis has composed music for 7 previous pantomimes at Chipping Norton. There will be many new songs plus Music Hall numbers. Her recent work with Craig Revel Horwood includes orchestrations and as musical supervisor for the current sell out UK tour of ‘Chess’, the tour of ‘Spend, Spend, Spend’, ‘Sunset Boulevard’ at the Watermill Newbury and at the Comedy and ‘Sweeney Todd’ Watermill, West End and Tony Award Broadway.

Russell Craig has created many enchanting and magical scenes for ‘Beauty and The Beast’. He has designed for major companies worldwide including with the RSC, Glyndebourne, ENO, Opera North, 16 shows at the Unicorn Theatre. The successful production of ‘L’Elisir d’Amore’ at Scottish Opera, for which he designed, was revived earlier this year.

Billy Riddoch is currently to be seen in the new John Landis film ‘Burke and Hare’ with Simon Pegg and Andy Serkis. Other film work includes in ‘Trainspotting’ and ‘Shallow Grave’. He has played many seasons with the Glasgow Citizens Theatre and for John McGrath’s 7.84 Company. Lotte Gilmore has played Jill in ‘Jack and The Beanstalk’ Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds. Her show ‘Cabaret Confidential’ was recently at The Pizza on The Park. Rowan Talbot has played Gary in ‘Noises Off’ and Poo Bah in ‘The Hot Mikado’. He was Scooby Doo in ‘Scooby Doo Live on Stage’ for Warner Bros.
