Saturday 7th March ETO: The Siege of Calais Donizetti

English Touring Opera’s story about the citizens of Calais who offered their lives to save their city from the English army. ETO gave the professional UK premiere of The Siege of Calais at Hackney Empire in 2013.

Thursday 12th March ETO: The Wild Man of the West Indies Donizetti

English Touring Opera presents this rarely seen Donizetti opera (1833) about a man driven mad when he witnesses his wife’s infidelity. A fully staged verison has never toured in any country.

YouTube stars Mandem on the Wall, aka Joivan Wade, Percelle Ascott and Dee Kartier present their first ever live show at Hackney Empire. Packed with comedy sketches, music, videos and special guests, the show will combine live performance with a digital experience. Mandem on the Wall are one of the UK’s biggest online stars having generated over 40 million views on their YouTube channel, as well as featuring on Channel 4's hit series 'Youngers'.

Sunday 31st May Bashment Granny

Keith “Shebaba” Ramsey” is back in Bashment Granny 3, the latest episode in the action-packed comedy series. Started in 2007, the first Bashment Granny pulled in consistently strong audiences and made a star of Shebaba. In Bashment Granny 3 Bad Boy Trevor is released from prison only to find that Shebada is still in hiding and Half-a-Dog is sniffing around for his cash. Fans will be on the edge of their seats as a meeting between the "Dog" and the "Bad Boy" is imminent.

Sunday 5th July The Tour – Make Believe

Performing Arts schools Make Believe enable all their children to experience performing on a prestigious London stage. The company has produced over 30 shows since their establishment in 2004 and teach around 3,500 children each week. This new show will captivate some of the greatest musicals of all time and will include around 150 children in each of the three performances.
